Mona Singh played the main female protagonist in the television serial Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. It all happened by sheer coincidence. Someone gave her the number of Deeya Singh and she fixed up an appointment to meet her. When she met Deeya in her office she almost tripped and fell and instantly the thought struck her that all her chances her ruled out. To her utmost surprise she was called for an audition within a span of one month. After just two auditions she was selected to play Jassi. It is a nice, simple story, which is never attempted before, even remotely.
