Preity Zinta was born to an Army officer.
Being an army kid he inculcated hard work & discipline in the coursework of her childhood. He did her schooling in Shimla. In school he liked literature & was a keen basketball player. Regrettably he faced trauma early in life when he lost her father in a automobile accident & her father was seriously injured. Preity Zinta braved life together with her brothers. He went on to do a degree with English honours & another coursework in psychology. He had also started modeling then. He was seen in the commercial for Perk. Her success landed her with lots of assignments & made her a celebrity in the modeling fraternity. He then met Shekhar Kapoor who recommended her to Mani Ratnam for a role in Dil Se. An excellent chapter of Bollywood was about to unfold.
